Girls Book Study
Date: July 16, 2009
Occurs: Every Thursday from July 16, 2009 through August 7, 2009
Time: 04:30PM til 06:00PM
Location: Common Grounds Coffee House, Lexington, KY (Show me a map)
Rachel Rogers, Corrie Wojohn, and I (Katie Palm) will be reading the book "Real Sex;
the naked truth about chastity"
and we would love for any girls in town this summer to read
along with us and discuss parts of the book each week. You may be
thinking that a book on sex/chastity doesn't sound like much fun, but
the author, Lauren Winner, has written very humbly and honestly about a
challenging time in her life and with great joy in Christ's ability to
redeem, she challenges Christians to reclaim chastity as a spiritual
discipline. I've heard great things about this book and I am so excited
to read it with you girls this summer. Brad Rogers has several copies
of the book for $5 for anyone who wants to buy a book from him. Please
spread the word to any of your friends who are in town this summer that
would be interested in reading along with us!
Let me know if you are interested in coming, want to get a book before Thursday, or if you will need a ride to Common Grounds (343 East High Street). We will probably meet in one of the upstairs rooms and we will gather very informally, so if you need to come late or leave early, it is NO problem!
If you have any questions, please call/text/email me :)
